ABOUT THE

CLUB

Who We Are

Faribault Soccer Club (FSC) is a community-based, volunteer-led youth soccer organization serving players ages 3 through 18. Our programs emphasize fun, skill development, and sportsmanship while providing a clear path for growth—from first-time players to competitive team opportunities.

We believe soccer should be accessible, positive, and development-focused, creating an environment where every player can learn, grow, and belong.

Our Mission

The mission of Faribault Soccer Club is to:

  • Foster a love for the game at every age and ability level

  • Teach fundamental soccer skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship

  • Support player development in a safe, respectful, and encouraging environment

  • Strengthen community through youth athletics and volunteer involvement

Our Philosophy

FSC follows a development-first approach to youth soccer.

  • Younger players focus on movement, coordination, and enjoyment

  • Skill development progresses with age and readiness

  • Competition is introduced in age-appropriate ways

  • Effort, learning, and sportsmanship are valued over results

We believe long-term player growth happens when kids feel supported, challenged, and excited to play.

Our Values

At Faribault Soccer Club, our culture is built on shared values that guide how we coach, compete, and support one another.

  • Player-First Development – Learning and confidence come before results

  • Sportsmanship & Respect – Players, coaches, and families represent FSC with integrity

  • Community Involvement – A volunteer-powered club strengthened by local support

  • Inclusive Participation – A welcoming environment for players of all skill levels

Community & Volunteers

Faribault Soccer Club is powered by volunteers—parents, coaches, referees, and board members who care deeply about youth sports and our community.

Volunteer involvement helps:

  • Keep registration costs affordable
  • Create a welcoming, family-centered environment
  • Model leadership and service for our players

We are grateful for every family who gives their time to support FSC.

Club Partnerships

To support advanced development opportunities, FSC partners with regional soccer organizations when appropriate, helping provide pathways for players who seek higher levels of training and competition.

Our Commitment

Faribault Soccer Club is committed to:

  • Respectful behavior from players, coaches, and spectators

  • A dog-free and smoke-free playing environment

  • Clear communication with families

  • Protecting player privacy and safety

Club policies and codes of conduct are available on our Policies page.

Our Facilities

Home games and practices are held at the Faribault Soccer Complex, which provides multiple fields and space for players and families to enjoy the game.

Directions and facility details can be found on our Facilities page.
